*Surprise, surprise,* this single is about another breakup of mine.  I know, I have commitment issues, but WOW this girl wasn’t playing.  She took best friends with her exes to another level, but hey, if you ain’t all in then props to you for breaking it off; I just wish it was sooner.  

ANYWAYS - As you may have noticed, this single is almost a tribute to the one and only Joji.  From the structure of the song to the cover art, I wanted the vibe to be Joji.  This man has been a huge inspiration for me since his ‘pink guy’ days, but when he started releasing music with 88rising my mind was blown.  The way that uses keys and synths in his music has completely shaped my production style.  In this song I have many not-so-hidden references, lyrically and production wise.
